Between 11 and midnight (Friday night) I'm going to make sure that I'm out on that football field for at least a half hour shaking hands and thanking students. At 6:45 a.m. (today) I'm going to hand out doughnuts to the students. I want everybody to feel a part of this. It's not a PR stunt; it's just who I am. I really appreciate all the support we've gotten this year.

It's because someone gave you a chance to run their program, and you aren't running it very well. We started to put our intuitions and our feelings aside in the second game. We could have gotten out of our deficit with the way we were starting to play. Sometimes Mother Nature steps in, and that can be a good thing. At least we walk out of here with a little pride in our pockets from performing at the end.

As a freshman it's different, but I think I've gotten used to it. I know I have to be smart. I have to know where I am in the lineup and what's coming next. One thing that's comforting is that I always know that my team is behind me and they have my back. That's probably been the best thing about the experience so far.
