We're going to try to work on our rankings this fall, ... We both just want to win the match, whether she's playing me or if she's playing someone else.
Are you ready for the Williams sisters? ... We'll see you on Sunday. There's going to be a lot of hard hitting and a lot of hard serving. We'll both have some tricks up our sleeves.
She's obviously a great player, doing things on the court that amazing, ... She's motivating other people all over the world to do their best both on the court and off the court, so I think it will be really cool and I regard her.
It was distracting for both of us, to be honest, ... I'm really dedicated to get my ranking up. I'm tired of being ranked this low. I just know myself that I'm better than No. 10. We were sad when we were heard the draw. We didn't talk about it until now. It's hard because I want her to be in the tournament. I want her to win just as much as I want to. If it's a final, it's obviously different. It was super strange, for sure.
We both like to dictate and control the point, even though we have different styles. I guess it'll be like old times.

Yeah, it was bizarre, ... I think it was distracting for both of us, to be honest. ... If it's a final, it's obviously different. It was super-strange, that's for sure.
I'm very disappointed, obviously. I just couldn't pull my game together.
Injuries are part of sports, but right now, (I'm) solid.
I knew she was watching when Serena won the U.S. Open and she's happy to see another black woman win in her lifetime.
I just wasn't used to getting beaten the way she beat me, ... Every time I step on the court, even if it's against Serena, I still feel like I should be the better player because, really, that's how we were raised to think when you came out on the court. So I guess that was probably a factor.
I'm feeling good, ... I think it was good for me to be away -- I think it extended my career. At this point I prefer to do tennis more than anything else.
I'm definitely in a lot better form than I was last year.
I'm really dedicated to getting my ranking up. I feel like, wow, I'm a very good player. There are all these people ranked ahead of me. After a while, I'm tired of being ranked low.
