That was an unbelievable tie-break. She just kept hitting winners but somehow I stayed in there,
I was playing decent and she started playing really bad and it totally threw me off. She was playing weird. Next thing I knew I was playing as bad as she was. She started hitting these weird shots, short balls. ... I guess maybe it was a good strategy. It just threw me off.
I won Wimbledon because I wanted to be like her in Australia. I just want to be like her. But if she loses, then I'm like, 'Oh, man, now I have to do it.

It doesn't matter how Serena is playing because her competitive spirit is so high, you have to go to the ends of the Earth to beat her.
I think I'll just improve on that, and each match at this point is important for me to get a rhythm and start dominating.
I think I'll go in mentally a lot better. When it comes down to it, I don't think anyone really wants to play me because I have a lot of weapons and not a ton of weaknesses. My main weakness would probably be an occasional self-destruction mode. So I'll try not to touch that red button accidentally.
Wimbledon needs to do the right thing and finally pay the women the same as the men. Players won't be satisfied until all of us -- not just one out of 128 -- are treated equally with the men.
Well, I'm very disappointed, obviously. I just seemed to get to a point there, I just couldn't pull my game together. Just I don't know what happened. I don't know. So I'm really disappointed, but I feel like in general, I was in good form. I just somehow fell off my form.
I think it will be a real tough match. She does everything well and when she strikes the ball, she really goes for it.
I'm hoping to be in the final -- 8 o'clock sharp at the dance.
Having the opportunity to represent your country is such an honor. I'm looking forward to some great competition and hope to bring home a victory for the U.S.
Her racket is actually fragile -- powerful but fragile,
Today was a good day. It was windy, so the conditions were a little strange like that. My toss got thrown off.
