It showed a lot for us. We were down 17, came back, made a big run and got right back in it. It shows what type of team we can be.
It was really important. The crowd really got into it and they had a big effect. There were a couple of times there where I couldn't hear the whistle.
It's something that's special to me. It will be something that I talk about later down the road. I think it's probably one of my best individual performances. I haven't played against the level of competition that I've in college. In high school I didn't see players who were 6-9.
They brought a lot of people at me and it was hard to find space to move.
It's a small community. Everybody knows each other.
I took it as an insult. I mean, they come in and they tell us that. Some people didn't have us in the top 60. I mean, that's something. I kind of liked it, having our backs up against the wall, people telling us something we can't do, and we go out there and prove them wrong.
It's not something we've talked about, you know.
There were points and times where I felt like we were so close. We just needed one big stop.
There's going to be days like that, where the ball just doesn't go in the hole.
I developed a routine where if I didn't get into the gym and shoot every day, it felt kind of awkward; it felt like I was letting myself down.
I don't look at it much, but I know I've got a few of them. It's something that I'm proud of.
I've got a lot of other stuff to focus on; I'm not even thinking about that.
