It was important for us to get some runs early and put last night (a 1-0 Tribe loss Wednesday) behind us, ... And the way C.C. has been pitching, if we get him some runs, we knew we'd be OK.
The best part of it probably was when he got up and he had dirt on his face and didn't wipe it off. It made him look tough.
It's no big deal. I haven't even thought about it.

I don't know what happened. I thought we were good to go. I thought we'd be in the playoffs. I thought we could win the division.

Since we've been home, it's only been the one game where we scored any runs. We're missing out on a lot of chances and not hitting with men in scoring position. Everybody is frustrated that we're not swinging the bats better.
