control defense prefer side success tempo
You'd like to see one side control the day -- I'd prefer defense -- control the whole tempo and the whole success of the offense.
boston catch college good hard might running similar sure throw time
We did not throw and catch as good as we have in the past. I'm sure Boston College (next week's opponent), they might be similar and we might have a hard time running if we can't throw.
battling best guys position quality since six
We've six guys battling for two spots. We're in the best position to find two quality guys since I've been here.
biggest mark position question unsettled
Our biggest question mark is probably the most important question mark. We're unsettled at probably the most important position on the team.
area continuing mistakes work
I was disappointed in some mistakes we made in the red-zone and that is an area we are continuing to work on this spring.
demeanor maybe
I thought we'd have more full-speed collisions so far, ... He has a toughness, meanness, the personality and demeanor we need. Maybe he'll be in one of those collisions this week.
continued defense defensive good played work
I thought the defense played well, they (the first team) didn't give up a long play all day. I thought the young defensive linemen continued to show improvement. They got some good work in this week.
athletic drink teams
I think a lot of athletic directors, administrators and teams will drink from the well we dug.
boosts gives helps last lift morale win
It always helps to win that last one. It boosts morale and gives you a lift going into the off-season.
awful background brings knowledge recruiting state
He's got a background here in the state. He brings a lot of instate knowledge and this is an awful important state from a recruiting standpoint.
level mean reached tough whether words
He's a tough guy. He's a mean guy. Whether those are appropriate words to say, I don't know. But again, that's how the game's played, and there's a level we need to play with defensively we haven't reached yet in those aspects.
talented tight understand
He's as talented a tight end as we've had here in a while, but doesn't understand the tempo.
enthusiasm good looked
He has looked really, really good. He has good enthusiasm.
giving good heavy kicking work
He is a pretty good kicker. We are giving him some heavy work right now. He is kicking just as good if not better.
