control defense prefer side success tempo
You'd like to see one side control the day -- I'd prefer defense -- control the whole tempo and the whole success of the offense.
boston catch college good hard might running similar sure throw time
We did not throw and catch as good as we have in the past. I'm sure Boston College (next week's opponent), they might be similar and we might have a hard time running if we can't throw.
blow fits good miss
We are really going to miss Cole Downer, ... He has good hands, is an outstanding blocker and really fits what we are doing with this offense. He has been working very hard. This is a blow to our team.
game hard kicking open seven solid worked
We worked real hard on that during the open date. That's kind of a concern. The kicking game here has been pretty solid for seven years. I think we've got it solved.
opponent tough

capable comments consistency matched next performance potential since tremendous
All of my comments since he has been here is he has had tremendous potential, and his performance had not matched his potential to this point. But I think, potentially, you can see what he is capable of doing. Now consistency is his next step.
hitting level needs team toughness
There's another level this team needs to get to from a hitting and toughness standpoint.
close coach coaching excitement four games guys improvement perspective
A coach doesn't get giddy. The excitement from a coaching perspective is if we can get those guys to make improvement. And it's not like a lot of improvement because we were close in the four games we lost. We can get better.
That's when we'll see if he can do it.
build develop good mentality start
That's not good on offense, but that's the kind of mentality you want to develop on defense. If you can start doing it everyday, you build that personality to where everyone (on defense) is going to get one.
blood hurting husband paid reflects
You see blood hurting, husband or son, ... Somebody's hurting Sunday, which reflects back on her. We get paid well to hurt. She doesn't.
biggest guy lose miss point productive run since weapon
You're going to lose right now, our biggest weapon back there. That's the most productive we've had a guy run since I've been here. We're going to miss that. ... Pretty significant at this point in time.
either positives side
There were positives on either side of the ball.
