bottle calm good half minutes second talked yell
I talked to them in a calm manner. I didn't yell or scream. I said I was disappointed in the way they played. But the second 20 minutes was a really good half for us. Now we have to bottle that and play for 40 minutes.
college great renewed season teams
I think it's great for college basketball. It's great for teams and it's great for everyone at the end of the season to have renewed hope.
bad excuse explain game happened incredible opportunity poor sure timing turning wish
It happened (against Minnesota), and it was an incredible turning point. It was also very deflating, but it's also part of the game and was bad timing for us. ? I'm not sure you can really explain it. We just did a poor job. There's no excuse or explanation. I wish we had an opportunity to do it over again.
best chance home hopeful losing obviously opportunity playing prepared ready side sitting slide
Going there, obviously for them to probably have a chance to get off the losing slide there in the conference, the home opportunity ? the best opportunity if you're sitting in their seat, their side of the street. We're playing for a lot of things ourselves. I'm hopeful that we are able to be healthy, be ready and be prepared to go after it (tonight).
believe capable clicking cycle happen rhythm stay taking tough trying waiting
He's a rhythm guy, and I think he's out of rhythm. We're trying to see if we can get things back in sync, back clicking in the right cycle for him. It's been tough for him to get that back. ... It's waiting to happen for him. We're going to stay with him, we believe in him. He's our guy, he's my guy. I think he's capable of taking of taking us to a different level.
absolute competitor foot since stepped
He's been everything. He's been an absolute high-level competitor since the day he stepped foot on campus.
aggressive ball courtney formula goes less needs offensive terms
He's doing his part when he's being doubled. He just needs to be a little more aggressive off the ball in terms of when the ball goes up that he go get it and offensive rebound. Sometimes if you feel you're being doubled, you're less aggressive and that's not the formula we want from Courtney after the double-team.
allow hopefully opportunity week work
Hopefully this is a week that will allow us the opportunity to work on fundamentals.
basketball ended hurt left win
If it ended tonight, I think we'd be in. There's a lot of basketball left to play but it doesn't hurt to have this win on our resume.
beautiful floor tremendous watch
He had a tremendous floor game, and got everyone involved. It was beautiful to watch him play tonight.
certainly forced guys hurt middle needed players production ronnie step
He did struggle. We certainly needed all of our perimeter players to play well and I thought it hurt us when Dion (Harris) got the two fouls (early). ... That probably forced some other guys to step up their production on the perimeter and it wasn't there. I thought Ronnie was right in the middle of that.
difference hunter solid
Hunter was a big difference for us ... I thought he had a really, really solid game.
gave kept plays
He was just outstanding. He gave us all that he could give us tonight. He kept making plays and making shots.
catalyst feeling fortunate high shoot
He was a catalyst for us. We were fortunate that he was feeling it to shoot such a high percentage.
