days figure score
With this lineup, you figure most days we're going to score more than two runs.
determine home tomorrow trip win
Tomorrow will determine what kind of a trip we have. It's better to go home 6-1 than 5-2. We need to win series.
arm close falls planning shutting unless wins
Unless my arm falls off, I'm not planning on getting this close to 300 wins and shutting it down.
baseball help helping humbling playing position simply
I like to be in a position of helping people. I find it very humbling that, simply by playing baseball, I'm in position to help so many people. I never take that for granted.
almost confident expecting remember sitting
I remember sitting in the dugout, being confident and almost expecting it to happen,
goes player somebody talk talked
I'll say this and I don't want to talk about it anymore. It's interesting to me that for somebody who's been so tight-lipped about everything that goes on in that organization, that I'm the only player that he's ever talked about when it comes to a negotiation.
good help

chance coming decision game played understand
I played this game long enough. I understand when you have a chance to try to do something, you've got to try to do it, ... I don't like coming out of the game, but that's the decision you've got to make.
bit command downside execute gave guess home result results tells
I gave up two bombs. Everything else was pretty good. That tells me that when I execute my pitches, I'm getting the results I want. I guess the downside is the result of the two home runs. I've got to get a little bit better command on my fastball.
bombs box executing gave guess line pitches results speaks tells terrible
I guess the box line pretty much speaks for what it was: two terrible pitches and gave up two bombs and everything else was pretty good. It tells me when I'm executing my pitches, I'm getting the results that I want.
love time
If there was ever a time I would love to be going to the playoffs, it's right now the way I'm pitching.
capable feeling kindness monster offensive player putting question side
If there was ever any ... question about what kind of player he was going to be, it was on the offensive side of the ball. There was always a feeling that offensively, he was capable of putting up monster numbers.
areas certainly evaluate expected looking stronger talent team teams
If you evaluate our team, we've certainly assembled the talent to win. Looking at some of the teams I was on in Atlanta, I can't say those teams had more talent than this team overall. Some areas are stronger than others. But the thing we always had over there was that we just expected to win.
certainly far gone good shown team
In the years I've been here, sure. We haven't had a team that's been this good. ... We've certainly gone out so far and shown that we're a good team.
