negative watch
I watch the film, so I know what I've done off a guy. I don't look at it as a positive, just like I don't look at it as a negative if I haven't done well off a guy.
hope resting tells
I will play when he tells me, but I hope I go out and play well enough that he doesn't think about resting me.
team upset
I was upset with myself. But when you let your team down, you want to help.
felt job paid
I felt guilty, ... You get paid to do a job and don't do it, you have to feel guilty.
behind head kid showing start stays teaching technique
His technique is flawless. He's short, quick. His head does not move. He stays behind the baseball. If you were teaching a swing, I would start by showing the kid Bonds' swing.
glad learned
Hopefully, we all learned something here. I'm glad he didn't take me out.
anyone fear
He doesn't fear anything or anyone when he's out there.
heard leaves perspective puts
When we heard about (Barmes), we were thinking, 'That's terrible, what are we going to do,' ... Then the skipper leaves and his daughter's having seizures, and it puts it all back in perspective really quick.
happens
When it happens to you, it's not that scary. I was all drugged up, so I didn't really know what was going on.
fun great guys term
You always want to have the guys you're going to go with long term out there and see how it goes. It was fun to see Hawpe out there, and it was great to see Barmie out there.
earlier home
You can get back in there, get to hitting, get to go home earlier and all that stuff,
ball definitely everybody experience gets good mean talent time win
Time will tell but we definitely have the talent, but that doesn't mean nothing. We have to go out and win ball games. There are a lot of good players. The more experience everybody gets the better we are going to be.
chances couple help hits stayed
We stayed in it, but they did little things to win. We didn't do that. They had some big hits and, of course, I had a couple chances to help us out and didn't do it. It's frustrating.
good trying
Honest, I'm just trying not to do too much and it's yielded some pretty good results,
