couple course difficult front played shots
I am very happy. I played well and could have done a couple of shots better on the front nine. You can get shots going out on this course but it's difficult to get anything on the back nine,
comparable deep field major quite
I feel it's very comparable to a major championship. The field is not quite as big but they're still just as deep and just as strong.
breaking eight putter
I feel like breaking the putter into eight pieces.
ask playoffs somehow
I couldn't ask for anything more. Two playoffs -- very stressful, but still, I was somehow able to come out on top.
figured might par
I figured if I could jut get to even par ... if I was lucky, I might be able to get into a playoff. Unfortunately, I made those two bogeys on 16 and 17 and (they) kind of put me out of that equation.
birdie figured number post
I figured if I could birdie 17 and 18 and post a number I would at least have some kind of a chance.
anywhere ball birdie chance driver either ended figured good hitting holes last outright tournament win
I figured 19 (under) would either win the tournament outright or be in a playoff. I had to birdie the last two holes somehow. I had to take the chance of hitting driver (on No. 17) and put the ball anywhere up there where I could make birdie. It ended up as good as you could like.
agree certainly definitely field hitters
I certainly agree that it's narrowed up the field a little bit. Some of the shorter hitters are definitely going to struggle.
agree certainly definitely field guys hard hit hitters holding seeing time
I certainly agree that it's narrowed the field a little bit. Seeing some of the guys at their length, with what they have to hit into some of the holes, they are having a hard time holding greens. So some of the shorter hitters are definitely going to struggle.
golf player thinking
St. Andrews by far is my favorite golf course in the world. It's where the game all started, it's why we have 18 holes instead of 22 and I think the history behind St. Andrews is amazing. There is no other golf course in the world that can say that every great player who has ever played the game has played that golf course.
thinking trying balance
I think life is all about having a balance, and trying to find equilibrium and not getting things one way or the other.
baseball moving player
If you're a baseball player and you're on the mound, you don't ever want to look up in the stands if somebody is yelling at you because they know they've got you. You just keep your head down, keep moving along. Of course it annoys you at the time, but you don't ever show that it does annoy you; just go ahead and move on and keep playing. If it does distract you, back off.
golf play matter
No matter how you play the golf course, no matter how well you play, you're going to have to make 6 and 8 footers for par. It's just a given here.
sports player nba
Look at the NBA players back when Magic and Kareem played in the early 80's with the short shorts, look at what Michael looked like when he first came in the league compared to when he left. Every sport evolves. Every sport gets bigger and more athletic, and you have to keep up.
