beating defense drum hang hat stretch
I've been beating the drum for defense all season. That is something that as we go down the stretch we need to be able to hang our hat on.
against bench both games
In both of the games against Michigan, the bench was the difference.
against bench biggest both games
In both games against Michigan, our bench has probably been the biggest difference.
building care ends finishing guys house june last running season seat top
It was June last year, and we were finishing our conditioning drills. We were running around the top of the building and I told the guys if they take care of their business, when the season ends every seat in this house is going to be filled.
ball chasing looked soccer
It looked like a kids' soccer game, with (everyone) chasing the ball around for awhile.
best both focused great guys knew lose motivates playing roll team
We went in and were very focused on playing our game, because we knew when you lose you go home. That motivates guys to play their best basketball. Fortunately for the team I was coaching, it was on a great roll both offensively and defensively.
happy ohio
I've said this before, I'm as happy as I've ever been, at Ohio State.
blow confidence exactly gone grade great happened kids knew quite third
Quite honestly, this is exactly what we told the kids was going to happen. We knew kids that were in the third grade when this happened probably weren't going to be punished. We had great confidence in that. It would have been a devastating blow had it gone the other way.
atmosphere chance days far finish four months pride teams
I have always said I take so much more pride in where we finish in the two months of going through the Big Ten. That to me is far more important than four days in one city. Now, I do like the atmosphere here and chance for rejuvenation for teams and kids.
ball easy gets giving push seed seeds thrown understand

games involved toughest
That's one of the toughest games I've ever been involved in.
best freshness kids knowing ncaa stage wearing week
I know at this stage of the season, kids are wearing down. And knowing that you're in the NCAA Tournament, you want to keep that freshness and try to do the best you can in the first week of (the NCAA) Tournament.
challenge energy needed step time year
I really had to step in and challenge our guys. This was the first time all year I did not think we had the energy needed out there.
again court elated game good guys home obviously opportunity ourselves outright position senior understand win
I think our guys have a pretty good feel that there's still another game to play. I think that they understand that obviously we're elated to be co-champions ... but once again we've put ourselves in a big position to have the opportunity to win outright on our home court on senior day.
