road second seed team year
This is the second year we've had to do this, and this year we are the No. 1 seed yet we're having to play a team like Vanderbilt on the road in the second game.
blood boiling coach coaching dream environment gets heart player pumping
This is what you dream about as a player and a coach. I've been coaching 31 years, and this is what gets your heart pumping and your blood boiling to be in an environment like this.
definitely deserve good great hopefully maybe playing road somewhere team work
They're about the only good team that's not (in our bracket). They definitely deserve to be a No. 1 seed, and maybe somewhere down the road we will get to play. But there's a lot of great teams. I just want us to keep playing the way we've been playing, and hopefully things work out where we'll be able to be in Boston.
helped hit inside ivory normally open outside packing
They were packing it back inside pretty good. We normally like to look inside, but sometimes you just have to take the outside shot. Ivory hit some big baskets that really helped open things up for us.
environment feeling love sort special sure team
They love the environment of the big game. Even when we were down, it's just a special feeling that this team has to never give up. It's sort of like the wind. You can't see it, but you sure can feel it.
fell love work
It was her attitude, her demeanor, her smile, her work ethic. I just fell in love with her.
The more we get up and down the floor, the better we like it.
honor won
It's an honor to play them and to have won this game.
minutes played second seemed three
For about three minutes in the second half, it seemed like they played on a different level. They toughened up and went to another level.
good hard missed shots
It's hard to play at 11 o'clock in the morning. We missed a lot of shots in the first half. I don't know -- I thought we had a some real good looks, and they just didn't go in.
hard
It's hard to play at 11 o'clock in the morning.
lined sound
They make it sound like we're going to have coffins lined up at practice. It won't be that bad.
aggressive ball boards changed defense rebounds year
They made us play real ragged. They changed their defense a lot. They were aggressive going to the boards and got the ball inside. We sputtered probably more than we sputtered all year out there today. We got things going when we had to and we got big rebounds when we had to.
foul
They made up for it from the foul line.
