We're still trying to win games. We're not trying to rely on other teams to get us in. I mean obviously any way we get in we're going to be happy with but we had it right there to do the job for ourselves and we let it slip away.

The 5-on-3 at the end of the first, they played it very well. They had the penalty killers working really hard. They didn't give us much. Credit to them, but there was a lot of hockey after that. When you spot that team three goals you're fighting an uphill battle.

I was skating back and yelling at him to freeze the puck. I was assuming that he was going to but he had a different idea. That's why communication is important.
