bit chances fell fought hard push
Because we were down we're going to take some chances and push the play a bit. We battled back hard. We were in the game, we fought hard but fell a little bit short.
easy guys held lay rest teams
I don't know if we thought things were going to be easy the rest of the way, that teams were going to lay down for us. The guys that were lineup haven't held up their end of the deal. To a man, we can all play better.
blame calls gray white year
There has been questionable calls all year long. It's black, white and gray this year, the officiating. You can't blame them, but is it frustrating? Yeah, it is frustrating.
given last leads minutes
We have given up some leads in the last minutes of games. You just can never quit.
deal suck
We're all going to have to suck it up here and deal with it.
fortunate penalty taking tonight
We're just taking way too many penalties. We were fortunate tonight that our penalty killing was up to the challenge.
believing funny happening luck momentum start
I think believing is the first thing because momentum is a funny thing some times. You get momentum and luck and things start happening and you just get that feeling.
bit gave lead relax
It gave us a little bit more of a lead and let us kind of relax a little bit and keep pushing.
bad caught challenge
I think it caught the end of my stick. I wanted to challenge him, but it was just a bad break.
couple kept key momentum saves
Huet made a couple of key saves in the first, we got the momentum and kept it.
control sounds worried worry
I don't think worried is the right word, we still control things. We'll worry when the buzzer sounds and we're not in the playoffs.
happy job mean obviously ourselves rely slip teams trying win
We're still trying to win games. We're not trying to rely on other teams to get us in. I mean obviously any way we get in we're going to be happy with but we had it right there to do the job for ourselves and we let it slip away.
carolina forward good looking playing
We're in the playoffs, everything's at zero. We're looking forward to going down to Carolina and playing a really good team.
credit fighting goals hockey penalty played spot team three uphill
The 5-on-3 at the end of the first, they played it very well. They had the penalty killers working really hard. They didn't give us much. Credit to them, but there was a lot of hockey after that. When you spot that team three goals you're fighting an uphill battle.
