It feels fine. I'm just happy to get back on the ice. We were off in the first period. To give up a two-goal lead like that, it's hard to come back.
We have to keep our focus and play our game. They're going to make it tough, so we're going to have to pay a bit of a price.
Whoever is the team that gets things going the quickest and playing together and plays the right way, is going to have success. I don't think it really matters what you did in the regular season.
We just didn't play well enough to win. They came out and battled hard the whole game. They got what they deserved and we got what we deserved.
We came out, skated and did what we wanted to do. It paid off. We needed to play well here. We came up short the previous two times.
We came out and skated and did what we wanted to do, and it paid off. When we had chances, we put it in the net. There's no recipe for that. It was just one of those nights. Some nights it doesn't work quite as smoothly as this and we don't score quite as many goals.
We had our fair share of things go against us. We would like to always understand that if you continually work hard, you will have some form of reward. This was one of those things.
We need a better penalty kill. They just put it on the net and they kind of knew where the loose puck was going to be, we didn't.
We're playing some good teams and the games are close, but no wins. It's not fun that's for sure. This is a good test, a good challenge.
If I can't go they'll have work to do, another player will need to go and they need to get organized.
I got a lot of grief from my teammates about that. It might backfire on my mom. Hopefully, my brother will have another chance somewhere down the road.
Representing Canada as a hockey player is always a tremendous honor, which also comes with a lot of responsibility. Being able to compete and win a gold medal on our home soil made it a once in a lifetime experience. Capping off the best ever performance by not only the Canadian athletes, but also Vancouver and all Canadians, made for an amazing Olympic experience.

The game was just like the last time in here. Both teams played pretty hard, pretty well defensively. We played better defensively than we had in the last few games. I just hope we realize that, and get ready for them again in a couple of days.
