beginning days due good healthy nice program strength strong taken time training turned
I haven't done that program in a long time (eight days due to the flu) so it was nice it turned out pretty well. I was a little slow. I wouldn't necessarily say cautious. It's taken away from my strength and energy. It was good I made it from beginning to end without being late. When I'm healthy and training good, this will be a strong program for me.
bed enjoyed figured fun happen ice numerous performance seen training trust week worry
I really enjoyed the performance tonight, and I've had a whole week of unknowns, being in bed with the flu. Ice is slippery, and anything can happen to anybody. I have seen that at numerous events. I am going to have fun out there and trust my training and not worry. I have figured out that worry doesn't help.
skating stride
I'm used to skating in all positions, first or last. You take it all in stride and do your job.
kept tougher
I'm tougher than I think I am. I was able to believe. I kept believing.
compete definitely healthy states strongest united united-states
If she's healthy and able to compete, she's definitely one of the strongest to compete for the United States at the Olympics.
great work
It was great that she tried, but things don't always work out.
great
I didn't think I was going to get any medals, and so it was great to get silver.
believe definitely felt strong test tried until
I definitely don't feel flawless. I felt strong and I made it happen. I tried to believe in myself. You don't know how strong you are until you test yourself.
bit definitely finished medal
I definitely didn't think I was going to get any medal when I finished skating. I was just in a little bit of shock.
celebrate gifts
I celebrate Hanukkah. Anything with gifts is good.
age-and-aging brand care competing ice senior seven six
Ice is maintenance. When you get to be my age, with six or seven years competing at the senior level, you have to take care of your body. It's not brand new.
anyone best consider count granted prepare
I don't take anything for granted with nationals. I can't count out anyone or know what anyone is doing. I have to prepare the best I can, that's all I can control. I don't consider myself to have anything on a platter.
act full life love
I am very full of life and there is so much to explore. I would love to act and to travel, all these things I can't do while I'm skating. I'll see what opportunities I have and where I want to go.
asked couple fell great hi mom nearly nice prove talked
I asked him to say hi to my mom to prove he was there, and he was really great and nice and talked to her for a couple of minutes. My mom said she nearly fell off her chair, she was so excited.
