We just didn't have the energy level we needed to do the job and it was pretty obvious early on. The only thing I was hoping for was their energy level would sink because it was their third game in four nights, too.

We made an awful play up the ice. It was a bad pass. You know they have four guys on the ice, we have five. You should be able to find someone open and execute a good pass, and we didn't.

This was their third game in four nights. It's not like we're spring chickens right now -- we've been playing a lot of hockey -- but they didn't have the same zip that they normally have. And that's why I think we were able to carry the play.

We don't want him handling the puck as much as he does, and yet he does and he makes mistakes like he did. His focus has got to be on the puck and not what other people are doing.

We're very aware, we've got a chart up. I try to make everyone on the team aware of where we stand and what we have to do to make the playoffs.
