chance guys hopefully learned lesson puck shoot shows
It shows you to just shoot the puck. And the lesson learned hopefully for a lot of our guys is just shoot the puck and you have a chance to score. If you don't, you're not going to score.
details easier fast few focus good hard knew lead start
It's hard to play with a 5-1 lead and we let a few things slide, but the focus was on details and getting off to a good start. We knew if we got off to a fast start we could make it easier on ourselves.
buy couple few happen hard looking lose next suddenly teams
It's hard to know what's going to happen in the next few days, because there are so many teams still in contention. But some teams could lose a couple of games, and suddenly they're not looking to buy anymore.
against beat emotional felt impact played team time wants wilson
Darryl can say all he wants that it has no impact on him, but there will be some emotional ties. I know how I felt the year, two years after every time we played against Anaheim (a team that let Wilson go as coach). I wanted to beat them bad. You're always going to think about being let go.
clicking job power worked
They worked really hard. It was a battle. Fortunately, our power play was clicking and we got the job done.
fun guys twice
Not many guys can make a play on their backhand like that. To see the guy on your forehand is one thing, but to do it twice on your backhand is pretty fun to watch.
home league nashville playing series win
It's not about playing Nashville or anything like that. The way the league is now (seeds) 5, 6, 7 and 8 could win their series and then you have home ice.
glad joe struggling
I'm glad Joe scored the goal. He's been struggling lately.
draw seriously stayed
I'm not going to say he stayed down to draw the penalty. I didn't really see the play. He did come back so he wasn't seriously injured, fortunately.
consider lightning played rod seen speak wrong
I'm not going to say consider the source, but why he was the lightning rod for everything wrong in Boston, I don't know. And I can only speak on what I've seen here, and he played great.
control half happy number played scoring took
I'm not happy with the way we played in the first half of the game, but we took control and got a number of scoring opportunities.
decide hold hope themselves
I hope they decide to hold themselves accountable.
both certainly deserved happy overtime played points
It was kind of old-time hockey. I'm not happy that we had to go to overtime to win, but we certainly deserved both points with the way we played physically.
awhile foot future game gas hard looking risking
It was looking for awhile like the way the game started that we weren't going to get anything and once we battled back it's hard in a game like that to keep your foot on the gas without risking anything and I think in the future we've got to keep on pushing.
