We had a lot of depth then, when Brooks was cut. Plus, he's gotten better. He's very good defensively. He's paid his dues.

Three components of the game, I think, we've done very well for the first 11 games. Pitching has been outstanding ... That's going to give you a chance to win games. Hitting, I still think we can swing the bat better than we have. (That) makes for a lot of close games.
