pressure
That's a lot of pressure to put on (the starters).
against beating good improve
That's a lot of beating yourself against a very good team. If we don't improve the free-throw shooting, we're going to be in trouble.
against beating good
That's a lot of beating yourself against a good team.
beating bit guess nevada performed watch
I'm embarrassed that you had to watch that and I'm embarrassed that we performed like that. You've got to give Nevada credit. I guess we stirred them up a little bit beating them at our place.
advantage amongst coming game league natures ourselves seven six teams won
If you're on the other end of it, you say that. I've said it because there are six or seven teams coming in here without another game tacked on like normal. We complained amongst ourselves about it and won every game. That's just one of our natures as coaches. That's the way the league is and sometimes you get an advantage and sometimes you don't. You have to take advantage of the advantage by winning.
far second ugly
If you have to have one or the other you'd take the second half, as long as you don't get too far behind. It was a little scary, because it was pretty ugly when they were up 14.
control decision future good guys job kids leave people playing reason recruiting school
In the future it's going to be very difficult. They're going to have to do a good job of recruiting guys who have the potential. The thing that kills people that's not fair, the No. 1 reason kids leave school is playing time. You can't control that. You get penalized for his decision and not yours.
broke came focused game middle plan ready
We came in here focused and ready to win, but we just broke down in our game plan in the middle stretches there and let them get away.
gets roll
When Julian gets on a roll like that, it can be very intimidating.
care crowds guys liked road stuff team
Savo and those guys were aggressive. They didn't care where we were. They liked going on the road because the crowds and stuff got them mad. This team doesn't have that kind of fire.
amazing difference home showing toughest
It's amazing what a difference being at home makes in this league. We have the toughest travel, but its showing in other teams, too.
block far overall prepare shots sure teams
As far as overall size, this is one of the better teams we've had. I'm sure other teams prepare for it because they know we're going to block shots and do some things inside.
bit looking offense run selfish
That's where they're getting a little bit selfish with it, I think. They're not looking to run the offense like they were earlier.
coming defense early guys hard helping junior recovers tracking
Early in the season, there was a lot of separation, because he didn't think defense coming out of junior college. Now he's right with the guy, tracking hard and getting out in him. And our big guys are helping him, and he recovers better than he did.
