gotten looked
It looked like it was pretty clean, but we could have gotten a better look, which I had hoped.
looked middle playoff situation tough
It looked like he labored a bit. I think it's a tough situation to not be in for a while and now be in the middle of a hotly-contested playoff series.
against ball basketball college curve familiar game knows learning maryland nba played studied
It's different, but he played college ball at Maryland in the ACC so he's very familiar with American basketball and he knows the NBA game because he studied it a lot and he's played against a lot of the players. The learning curve for him as a 29-year-old shouldn't be that great.
against areas bad chance course everybody good move news opportunity ourselves playing stuff win
It's bad news that we had an opportunity to move up and didn't, but it's good news that everybody lost. Right now, that stuff isn't as important as how we're playing over a course of 48 minutes. We have to tighten some areas to give ourselves a chance to win against anybody.
bruise certain doubtful night wednesday
It's a combination of a bruise and a sprain. I'm not certain of his status, but he's probably doubtful for Wednesday night (vs. Dallas).
bruise certain doubtful night wednesday
It's a combination of a bruise and a sprain, ... I'm not certain of his status, but he's probably doubtful for Wednesday night (vs. Dallas).
best chance focus guys high job level ourselves playing possible winning
It's about winning games, and right now, we have to focus in on the guys we have and doing our best possible job at playing at a high level to give ourselves a chance to win.
against deception deceptive difficult easy final golden obviously state team
It's a deceptive final score. It was obviously a very difficult game. It's not easy against a team like Golden State because they are so explosive.
basketball certainly defend defense guys high iq learning pick player playing process solid strengths system tendencies
It's about learning the league, learning the guys he's playing against, what their tendencies are and what their strengths are because those are important things to defend well, ... We have a system of defense that's solid and he's in the process of learning that. For him, he's an experienced enough player and certainly has a high enough basketball IQ that he can pick it up quickly.
extra good guard
It's a good thing we have an extra 2 guard over there. We're going to need it.
huge remember win
It's a huge win. As big a win as I can remember in a long time.
best guy heard hunch needed sure walked
When I walked in at 5:30 p.m. and heard Jermaine was out, I wasn't sure what we were going to do or the best way to go. I just had a hunch Harrison was a guy we needed to get involved.
ball crossed figured good jack laid movement open react switched
We set it up a little differently. AJ (Johnson) had been going good and we figured that they react to his movement on the court. They switched everything and got crossed up. Jack got open and laid the ball in.
certainly changes complexion game goes scheme
We had a whole scheme set up to double-team him. He goes out of the game, it certainly changes the complexion of the game for their team.
