This is like everybody is playing high-stakes poker. Everyone has their sunglasses on (and) ... you can't control it. You have to trust the organization to make the decision based on who they feel will most help the team.
I'm taking this whole experience in and just enjoying being back here, playing for the national championship in Los Angeles. It isn't getting sweeter than that.
I have faith in him and his play-making ability. Just the fact I know Matt and I know what kind of player he is. He's not going to give up. He's not always going to win the game with his arm.
I don't have any objections to playing for them, none at all. It's exciting for me to know that. I'm not objecting to it, so it'd be exciting to play for the Texans.
I feel like I've been making those kinds of plays and those kinds of moves since I was 9 years old. It's God's gift. It's a blessing, and I'm just trying to make the most of that blessing.
It's everything I dreamed of. I was used to the media attention, and playing at USC prepared me for it because I was always in the spotlight.
That just means that the Texans get the first pick, and that's it. There's no real emotion that played into it. Like I said, I'm not even focused on what's going on with the NFL right now. We need to be worried about what's going on with this game and winning the national championship.
I play on pure instincts. I remember being surrounded by three guys getting ready to tackle me, and I saw one of my teammates off to the right by himself, and I tried to pitch the ball to him. That's the type of player I am. I play fearless and I'm willing to score at all costs. I feel like if I would have made the pitch and we'd scored, it would have been the greatest play in college history.
I'm a sports fan. I'm not just an athlete who plays football.
He's a playmaker and big time players step it up in big time games and he definitely stood up.
When you join the NFL, you start from scratch. As long as I've been playing - which has been since I was eight years old - the game becomes harder at every level. Little league, high school, college - they're different stages you have to go through, and professional sport is completely different again.
For the teams that are going to be playing us, you just better be ready.
You can steal our plays all you want. But you've got to have the athletes to make it happen.
I felt this was the right time for me. If they (Texans) were to pick me, I wouldn't have a problem playing there. I'm excited about going to the next level and proving myself.
