I got out of my focus and tried to make a statement and that was really poor leadership on my part. I apologized to the team for that, and it's not going to happen again.
I have faith in him and his play-making ability. Just the fact I know Matt and I know what kind of player he is. He's not going to give up. He's not always going to win the game with his arm.
I have decided to forego my senior season and declare myself eligible for the 2006 NFL Draft. I will get my degree and I will get it from USC. That's something extremely important for me.
I don't have any objections to playing for them, none at all. It's exciting for me to know that. I'm not objecting to it, so it'd be exciting to play for the Texans.
I don't have to down-talk Oklahoma. Everyone saw the way we played, saw the way Oklahoma played. It's really pretty self-explanatory.
Obviously, me and Alex never knew that this was possible. It would be great if that could happen. I remember talking about this day when I was a little kid in Pop Warner football.
I was surprised. He said he was hurt.
Oh, yeah. I'm going to take a vacation.
When this is all said and done, everybody will see at the end of the day that we've done nothing, absolutely nothing wrong.
I felt good about what I did today and had a good time. It's good to be able to give back and see the smiles on the kids' faces. That's what it's all about -- giving back. 'Get Fit' made me think about when I was a kid and how I looked up to others.
I feel like if I would have made the pitch and we'd scored, it would have been the greatest play in college history.
I feel like whatever team I do go to, I can help out a lot. If I were about to go to Houston and they already have a great quarterback and a great receiver, maybe it's just the little piece to the puzzle that they're missing.
I feel like I've been making those kinds of plays and those kinds of moves since I was 9 years old. It's God's gift. It's a blessing, and I'm just trying to make the most of that blessing.
We just know if we play to the end, we'll find a way to win. We always do.
