Time goes by fast for me right now. It's fun to hang out with the guys and know that you're going to get in there.
Sean Burke was a huge idol of mine as a kid, so I was really excited to play against him. I'm excited every time I get a chance to play right now. It's a new experience for me.
We're in a battle with Buffalo for the top spot in the division and with Carolina for top spot in the conference. It's an exciting time of the year. With those teams not slipping up very much, we can't afford to either. We've been playing really solid since the break.
It just kind of worked out that over the course of the past three years, I played a couple of games here and there and I had a great team in front of me all the time so I reeled off nine kind of without recognizing it until the end of it,
The second one was on a bad angle and it goes through me. I don't let that in normally, it's a bad goal.
(The shutout) is exciting too because I haven't had one in a long time. We played really well and buried some chances we had and limited their scoring chances. I just want to win games and hopefully I'll get more opportunities to do so.

I squeezed my legs together and I could feel the puck there, but my momentum took me back into the net. I tried to pop it out, but I guess I crossed the line with my knees.
Everything is going to be fine. I was just a little sore.
Better than being complacent. It's a fresh start for us. You can see that in the boys ... it's an opportunity to put ourselves in a good position going into the playoffs.
Ten days on the road is a long time. We wanted to bear down today. It will be nice to get back to our own beds for a few nights.
You get excited. You work for the bounces you get.
I was really excited. This is close to my home town in Hamilton. I grew up with Hockey Night in Canada sitting at home watching it. This was one of the biggest games of my life.
I think he was a little surprised the puck came right out to him. He had to take a step back before he could shoot, and I was able to get more set for the shot.
