funny telling
Even more so -- and it's genuine. He's always laughing, telling stories. He's pretty funny.
fun people spend time until
You have an idea of what people are like, but until you spend some time around them it's different -- that's been the fun part.
fun heart liked means parents smiles stuff
It's fun to give back. I always liked doing stuff with kids, so when you see smiles on their faces, it's priceless, it's great. The parents come up and say how much it means when we visit. It does your heart good.
field fun guys teammates
It's been a blast. The most fun is getting to know guys off the field who I haven't been teammates with.
field functional injury rather
I'd rather play right now, but I don't think our field can take it for injury purposes and functional purposes. It's a big puddle.
bag leave runner seen
In hindsight, having seen the replays, the runner did not leave the bag too soon.
aggressive attitude ball balls center free goes reckless rein tries
In center field, you have free rein out there -- you have priority. He has that no-fear attitude. The ball goes up, and he's gone, going after balls with reckless abandon. He's aggressive and tries to get anything he can.
bat few kindness last numbers second swung
I'm not doing anything different. You kind of end up where you end up, and the last few years my numbers are pretty much the same. I've always swung the bat better in the second half.
expected expecting few good halves hit home last noticeable runs second
I had no idea how many I had, ... That's a lot of hits. The last few years I had better second halves than first halves. I was not expecting to hit as many home runs as I have, but I expected to have a good second half. It's more noticeable because I'm in a new league.
hit third
I've hit third a little bit, so that's fine,
cage good pitches recognize today
I wanted to play today and get some at-bats and see pitches without the cage around me before going to the WBC. It was good to see and recognize some pitches.
bit taking throwing
That's a little bit much. If you want to heckle, that's one thing. But throwing something like that on the field, that's taking it a little too far.
hopefully mean player premature type
We all know what type of player he is and what he can mean to this ballclub. Hopefully, that's a little premature and hopefully he will be able to play this season.
awesome closer good great guy hit home hoping location mistake plate run
This guy is an awesome closer with a good fastball, good location and a great changeup, ... I was just hoping he'd make a mistake up and over the plate that I could hit hard. When I hit it, I was just hoping it would get up over (Giles') head. A home run would have been a bonus.
