bit everybody expect feeling guys maybe
I've got two young guys ... and it's their first Olympics. I think maybe the first push, everybody was feeling a bit of the nerves. But in your first Olympics, you expect that.
chance driving good guys known people suited understand year
What a lot of people don't understand is this year we've actually been better in the four-man. Our sled is suited very well to this track. I've been driving it better here. I know the guys are going to go crazy. We've known all year we have a really good chance in the four-man.
guys maybe slip trying
Those guys will be trying to kill each other off. Maybe we can slip in there.
follow guys knows motivated second takes win
He really motivated the guys on the second push. He knows now what it takes to win something at the Olympics. The other guys, they follow his lead.
character guys hundredth pushing race runs true
The guys showed their true character pushing one hundredth (of a second) faster. That's what this race will be about. If I have the same two runs (today), I'll be happy.
christmas home horrible olympics road sitting took watching
The road it took to get Lascelles here, it's unbelievable. I thought about that over Christmas and that it would just be horrible that he'd be sitting at home watching the Olympics and we're here competing.
focus race
Right now the race is over and we have another race to focus on.
athlete career careful emotions found olympics stir
The thing I found over my career is the Olympics stir up emotions in an athlete or in a person that have never been stirred up before ? and that's something you have to be careful of.
blizzard event
I've never competed in an event where it started snowing with a blizzard like this.
banging best fallen trying until wall
That was probably the best combination until this one. And that one would have been first-second if I hadn't fallen into the sled, slipping trying to get in, then banging into the wall on the first turn.
athlete best canadian proud represent team
I think he's the best athlete on the Canadian team and I know how proud he is to represent this country.
drove europe last nice race site wins won
Yeah, it was a nice drive. We drove for my first back-to-back wins in Europe to the site of where I won my first four-man race last year.
win
I don't want to be a competitor; I want to win races.
cups finished olympic remembers
No one remembers how you finished in the World Cups in an Olympic season.
