It sounds like Marvin and I might win out on it. It's still in the building, I think, and hopefully, we'll get it worked out.
I can't tell you how much I studied these guys the last two weeks. We expected to play Pittsburgh. I really studied them hard and just really, just tried to prepare as hard as I possibly could. It's so disappointing when you don't win the game.
The idea is to win the game. We realize we can't expect to score 10 points and win a bunch of games.
It goes without saying, winning against a good team in a hostile crowd on the road, it's just an absolutely huge win.
If your team is going to win, you need to play better than the other quarterback.
Touchdowns to me means that you're scoring points and helping your team win games. You can have a lot of yards and not have points and not win games. So, this only means something because it has helped our teams win games and we won the division today in a competitive AFC West, that's a good thing.
We stuck to our plan and it worked. We just had to keep plugging and plugging, and we got into a little groove in the second half.
Players were surprised and upset emotionally about it. Everybody said a team prayer for coach Dungy and his family.
I was happy we were able to get a little rhythm going there in the first half. We had a good mix of the run and the pass and the play-action. We had some good drives.
I think our team realizes what kind of team Seattle is. Certainly what they are playing for in getting ready for their playoff run. You know what type of effort you are going to get from them.
I think sometimes guys coming from college think if you lose one game you're out of the mix, but if you lose two or three or four in the NFL, you'll still be OK, ... It's not really that way anymore.
I think we're more of a team and kind of feed off each other, ... It's definitely the best camaraderie we've had since I've been here eight years.
That was a little bit of an aggressive call, ... That was a run, but I kind of got tired of handing off. I did change up . . . . But I'm doing pretty good for the most part.
Mike has been so awesome. He's such a clutch kicker. People are surprised (when he misses) because he's such a great player. There's nothing he has to apologize for. He's made so many clutch kicks for us.
