We know these people; these people know us. We have a connection to these people.
It sounds like Marvin and I might win out on it. It's still in the building, I think, and hopefully, we'll get it worked out.
I'm not into judging or defining careers in the middle of a career. I hope to play for a number of more years. I am not looking back on my first eight years thinking about what is going to happen in years to come.
I'm disappointed. It will be more disappointing tonight and tomorrow. It takes time to move on from a game like this and make your peace with the football gods and get ready for next season.
I love watching him, ... Unfortunately, I was not watching him on TV.
Any time you get turnovers and that kind of field position, you want to score touchdowns, and we did, ... They weren't letting us pass downfield. It used to be teams wouldn't let us run the ball and we had to throw. Now it's the opposite. They won't let us pass. But the defense is doing its job.
It just shows you he's tuned in during the week of practice and he's into the game plan. He knows the plays and that's what you like.
We're doing a good job of getting into the third-and-shorts, ... When you get into those, you've got to be able to convert them.
It's a good start, but that's all it is. It doesn't guarantee anything.
It's almost like we were the first team ever to lose a playoff game,
(Offensive coordinator) Tom Moore made a good point: In the NFL, you don't pick up where you left off, ... You have to go out and earn it this year.
The sad thing is, he's a good kicker. He's a good kicker, but he's an idiot.
Obviously, I think we need to put the ball in the end zone down there. It's still about trying to do our job, scoring more than them. But there's no doubt we want to score more in the red zone.
Chris is going to do a great job for the Dolphins. When he was here in Indianapolis, I appreciated his input in our offense, and I know our tight ends, Marcus Pollard and Dallas Clark , did as well. He brings knowledge and passion to the game and will be a true asset in Miami.
