Looking at him, last year to this year, you can see the maturity in the throwing game and his decision-making and all of that.
They had good days. It's clear that John David has been in the system a long time. When you throw Mark in there and he's got to do it play after play, there's just a lot of stuff he has to catch up on. It's kind of what we thought at this point.
It was a risky throw. But our best guy was throwing it to our best catcher. It was the right thing to do.
That only makes sense to me. (Booty) feels terrific - he has no pain at all. To see John David feeling so good gives us the feeling he's going to jump out of this rehab. He wants to throw right now - he feels like he can throw right now.
He's been feeling this for years, and he doesn't feel it anymore, so he's ecstatic about the surgery because he knows that he's beyond that. He wants to go out and throw right now. That's how good he feels, he thinks he can go out and do stuff.
Watching the film, I didn't think that would happen because they play such great pass defense and they're so aggressive. But Matt was on fire.
We're so young in so many areas. These next two weeks will be huge for our development.
With the little bits I have, no. I'm not concerned about that one bit. I'm more concerned with helping the process and making sure everything comes to the front.
We're going to continue to evaluate the situation and see what's going on.
We're in great shape, and everything is going to work out for the long haul. I'm not looking. I don't care about those opportunities. ... This is a good time for this. There'll be a tremendous amount of movement in the NFL a week from now.
Why stop a game if you're going to make mistakes fixing mistakes?
We're real concerned. We have not had a great season on special teams.
Very dramatic. As exciting as it can be. A wonderful day for college football. It's something we'll never forget. For an energy junkie like me, it can't get any better than that. To be challenged to the last tick of the clock is really special for me.
We're just thrilled to be involved in this game. We're still excited about what's left for us.
