bring compete composure confident discipline good ourselves playing playoff position time
I think we feel confident that we have a good team. But the thing at playoff time is we've got to bring more discipline and more composure than we've been playing with. The jury's still out, but I think we've put ourselves in a position that we can compete with anybody.
bad discipline focus lose lost plan stick time year
We lost our discipline and we lost our composure, and at this time of year you need that. You can't lose focus of what you're doing. If something bad happens, you've got to stick to the plan and keep working.
biggest composure cost discipline hockey issue lost minutes seven six stay stronger surprise time year
We lost our composure for six or seven minutes and that cost us. It doesn't surprise me (because) that's been our biggest issue all year is having discipline and having composure. This time of year, it's magnified and you have to be even stronger and you've got to have a stronger will and stay in the hockey game.
good points time
At this time of year, every two points is a good win. We'll take it, and we have to try and get two more tomorrow.
extremely played worked
We just played smart, worked extremely hard. We did the little things we were working on, we did them well and we had success.
case great guys playing
That was a great play by Troy. That was another case of our guys playing with great heart.
beat game good hockey minutes supposed work
That's the way we're supposed to play. And (the Game 5 loss) wasn't the way we were supposed to play. If we work for 60 minutes, we've got a good hockey team. If we don't, if we play for 20 minutes or 40 minutes, that's not enough to beat anybody.
competing fantastic great intensity player playing
I thought he was great tonight. And that's the way we need him to play every night. With that same intensity and that same drive. He's a fantastic player when he's competing and playing hard.
couple enjoy minutes start
We have another couple minutes to enjoy it. Then we have to start working on tomorrow.
composure discipline game hard maintain
We've got to maintain our discipline and we've got to maintain composure (today in Game 2). We've got to come out and play hard for 60 minutes.
against obviously players track
To get back on track against Adirondack, obviously our rival, we had to come up big. I think some of our players responded and did come up big.
happened last win
Obviously, we didn't (envision a 0-2 deficit). We thought we were going to come out and play like we should play the first two games, and we have not. If you don't, you're not going to win and that's what has really happened over the last two games.
hard obviously weekend
This was a hard weekend on us. We obviously didn't give enough. We have to get back on track.
discipline early lack late playing saved
What killed us early was a lack of discipline and what saved us late was playing with discipline.
