map program road school
That's the way the road map is for a school like ours, ... That's what we've got to do to have the kind of program we want.
call perfect
Why have it if you're not going to use it? That's the perfect call where you'd want to have replay. If you're going to have replay, have replay.
built course critics-and-criticism fact playing proud schedule stayed took type varied
We've built on that vision, ... We never varied on the course we took. . . . We took a lot of criticism, playing the type of schedule we play. But I'm very proud of the fact we stayed the course.
credit plays season sort stretch
This was sort of the story of our season - down the stretch we didn't get it done. I thought we had opportunities but credit Tulsa, they made the plays when they had to and we didn't when we were in position.
bring great knew
We knew it'd be a great matchup to bring in Ron,
great move offense understand yards
We will have to understand that they are going to get yards and they will move the ball. Toledo has a great offense and a lot of experience.
both points teams weapons
Both teams have a lot of weapons and are able to put a lot of points on the board.
academic both bowl games gone great program progress proud ranks score seven straight team top
We are very proud of the academic progress we've made. I feel our program is as competitive both academically and athletically as any in the nation. We have gone to seven straight bowl games and our APR score ranks in the top 10 in the nation. That's a great accomplishment by our team and our staff.
attention bulldog coaches committed communication excellent expect football happy pleased program skills tim
We are very happy to have Tim and Derek back in our program. They are two outstanding young coaches who know what Bulldog football is all about. They are committed to the program and I'm very pleased to have them back on our campus. With their personality, communication skills and attention to detail, I expect they will be excellent recruiters and coaches.
bigger main next picked pile week
We are still at the main table. We were all in. We picked up all their chips, and now we've got a bigger pile -- and next week we'll go all in again.
advantage coming controlled crowd easier emotion games hand listen players team tough understand week
We've got a big one coming up this week and our team realizes it, ... They've been in big games before and they understand. Our players have been to tough places. We've had the advantage of experiencing a tough environment. That doesn't make it any easier though. You still have to be prepared, listen well, know your hand signals, etc. You have to understand the emotion of the crowd is controlled by the whole team and what we have to do as the visitors, is try and take that part of the game out of the picture.
disposal key knowledge necessary personnel
We've got all the necessary weapons. And if we have key injuries, I think we've got enough personnel to make any adjustments we need. The knowledge of the game, being able to get in and out of plays, we have so much more at our disposal now.
maybe
I'd like to see it at 10, 20, 30,000. Maybe someday.
believe critical obviously penalties unheard wrong yards
I don't believe we're an undisciplined team. Obviously we were in the wrong place in the wrong times in critical situations. I mean, 16 penalties for 155 yards - that's unheard of. It's unbelievable.
