I was very happy with our defense. In three of the quarters they had four, five, and five points, and that's just us playing with a lot of heart and on Senior Night that was great for them. We were on the floor for every loose ball and we got after it.

It's our first ever on Hays. At least, I know it hasn't happened in my seven years (as coach). I don' think we've ever split to win three of four to win three games is really special.

We didn't win both like we would've liked, but we still won three of four, which is always a good thing.
communication far problems
We had some communication problems on how far to go down the court. We just made a little adjustment.

Sometimes, you get stuff thrown at you that incorporates all of your learning.

We really should have scored 10 runs in that game.

We played solid ball (Friday). (Today) we play a really good South Dakota State team.

We have more in us than we showed. I hope we find it (today).
We need to play better (today). We just need to come out swinging. We still think we can get it done.

It definitely was a defensive battle -- almost like a chess match. And at the end, for those last few minutes, it was just pure grit.

We need to find a way to get healthy. And then come out firing at Regis.

Cassidy pitched well in that game. We should have won it for her.

If we can keep their scores down and score a few, then that's going to open up some doors for us.
She's fine. She's pretty sore, but she's fine.
