ball great hard looked pulled
He's very good, ... He's very athletic, very aggressive, has great instincts. We looked at him hard in evaluating the draft, and he's a playmaker. He has a way of getting to the ball (and) getting the ball pulled out. He's going to be an outstanding player.
took
He took part in part of practice. We'll see. He may be inactive. If he's inactive he won't play.
later quickly sore week
He's very sore today. It will be later in the week when we'll see how quickly the soreness leaves.
both gonna physical presence ron
He's a physical presence. He had an outstanding camp. Both are gonna play, but we feel a physical presence that Ron brings.
fun opportunity physical player trying
He's a physical player and he makes things happen, ... I'm trying to make the most of my opportunity and have some fun with my teammates.
account brings football good guy guys happens looked physical
He's an outstanding football player. I mean, he's a physical guy that brings it. He's a competitive guy. In that game, he looked to me like he misjudged the player's speed. He was in good position, and just didn't take account of his speed. That, unfortunately, happens to guys in this league. But he's one of the better safeties in the league.
good
He's an experienced guy, he's good with the young guys.
earlier handled year
I am not sure, if earlier in the year on the road, we would of handled them. We handled them (Sunday).
believe jerry loose turned
I believe Jerry will be able to play. To what extent, I don't know. I don't know that he's completely turned it loose yet.
approach bad carries dallas determined game terms
I feel bad for LaMont, we haven't been able to get him going. The one game he did in the Dallas game, he had 26 carries for 126 yards. We just have to be a little more determined in terms of how we approach it.
good job last surprise
I don't think this was a surprise to anyone. It was speculated over the last two months. I wanted to be here, and you take a job with the idea of doing a good job, getting the job done and being successful.
added close grown lost players talented team turn win
I'm disappointed that we've lost our first two games, but we've grown up a lot as a team. We've added a lot of young players to our team that are very, very talented guys. We've been close in each game. We need to turn the corner, get over the hump, win a close game.
handled situations
In the Philadelphia game, we had 10 third-and-8-plus (downs), ... But we've also been in situations that are in your favor. Some of them we've handled real well, some of them we've struggled.
along chances equation expectation level opening randy understand
I know what the expectation level is. We've got to give him as many chances as we can. Along the way, when he's opening things up for other guys, we've got to understand that's part of the equation of Randy being here.
