There are a lot of things we think Chris Chambers is capable of doing and to have success like this will help his confidence and maybe we'll continue to see some big-play potential there, that we've always thought existed.
I don't think anybody goes out there not knowing what to do, ... I don't think anybody doesn't know they didn't do it right after it happens. I just think that you are talking about a lot of different multiples and adjustments that have to occur. They happen quickly in the game and I think the more repetition you get on things like that, the more confidence the players gain in their ability to adjust.
We certainly feel both those players are capable. Sometimes when you play corner I think it's very important that you play with confidence and do the things you need to do technique-wise.
Sure. I expect it to be ongoing. I guess we could take two approaches which is, make it simple, or we can keep trying to build the way we want to play and get the players to continue practicing it and develop confidence in it and kind of go from there.
We have total faith, trust and confidence in the guy. The guy has a tremendous amount of ability. He's going to be a long snapper for a long time in this league so the question is do we want to take the time to develop that or do we want to let him go snap for somebody else?
We have total faith, trust and confidence in the guy,
We have some players that I think don't play with the kind of confidence that I would like to see, ... It affects their ability to make plays.
I have total faith, trust and confidence in the guy, ... He's going to be a long-snapper for a long time in this league.
He played with a lot of poise and he executed. It's a positive that the results were gotten by a systematic approach of doing the right things, and it paid dividends in results for him. I hope he gains confidence in his ability to do that in the future.
There are good players at every spot. Including 16.
The players showed a lot of pride in their part to establish an identity we're trying to form here,
When you have reached the pinnacle as a player of what you have always aspired for, what's your motivation? ... Some guys just work their tail off because they want to be good. It's important to them and their pride. Those guys have a better chance to succeed than the guy who did all of that to get here, and now all of a sudden the things that got him here don't seem to be important anymore.
When you go down and score the first time you have the ball, that sets the tempo for the game.
When other players think it's not acceptable by their peers how they go about what they do, they will change more readily. If they don't change then, then maybe they are the wrong guys.
