basics care serve
Serve and pass. You take care of the basics and go from there.
basic key serving tomorrow
The key to tomorrow will be serving and passing, as basic and as uninteresting as it sounds. I want us to play consistently well, something we didn't do tonight.
bunch call chances clear felt game pull
Things were going well clear into Game 3 and then we squandered a bunch of points. I didn't call a timeout because I felt we'd pull out of it. We had our chances in Game 3 and then we collapsed.
follow internet kept service
Even if we wanted to follow those things, we couldn't. The Internet service is down in our hotel. We're like mushrooms. We're being kept in the dark.
coming helped huge lift played
Bender coming in was a huge lift for the team. He played well and helped us get going.
kinds team
The team did well at times, and didn't play well at times. It was one of those kinds of matches.
barely believe eyes honest saw
To be honest with you, I can barely believe what I saw with my eyes.
ball balls blocked couple everybody good hitters liked mistakes moments outside played stayed team
I think everybody played well. We had a couple of moments when we made mistakes we wouldn't have liked to have made. But we distributed the ball well, the outside hitters hit respectably, we blocked some balls and played some good team defense. We stayed pretty focused, I thought.
moment night played sure whether winning worrying
We played in the moment all night long. That was the key. We didn't play worrying about whether we were winning or losing. I'm pretty sure that's the way to do it.
depends pop saw
It all depends on the MRI. I saw him pop it back in.
jump serves serving
Jump serves are good, but only if you keep them in play. No. 1 is a serving error. There's nothing worse.
came needed nice turned
We needed to be balanced. Bender came in and did a nice job. I think he turned the tide.
guy passing reason serving somebody struggling team
Usually the reason somebody makes a serving substitution is because the other guy is struggling or the other team is passing him well. You want some contrasts (in the serves).
hung pulled winning wonderful
That was huge, winning that one. It was wonderful that they hung in and pulled it out.
