We had three freshman play as well as they could have. The 3-point shot is such a momentum changer. We just couldn't get one to fall for us.

We had a tough week. We needed a win ... You don't like to talk about these things like they're cancer treatment or heart surgery, but in our little world, it was very important. It would've been a rugged trip home.

It's pretty dry down there. It's looking like a drought situation for a big part of the southwestern part of the country.

They have all made outstanding contributions to this program. I think they certainly brought back outstanding basketball to this program. They have had outstanding moments in their careers, which helped rebuild this program.

The one thing that he has done is pitch consistently. It's not overpowering, knock-your-eyes-out kind of stuff, but it's good stuff and he throws strikes. He doesn't get rattled or become afraid, you kind of know what you're getting.
