bit calm hard hopefully improved pocket reads
We're working hard this week, and we will be improved in that area. Hopefully I can calm down just a little bit more in the pocket and go through my reads a little quicker.
believed everybody job team time
That was probably the time everybody on the team believed I could get the job done.
penn state throw
That's what I used to see Penn State do, back when they were winning. They never let up. If we made a big play, we'd throw another big play.
plays respect
I tell them all the time, you have to make plays first before we'll get any respect from a secondary.
case court decision disagree forward respect taking
While we respect the court, we disagree with the court's decision and we look forward to taking our case to the Court of Appeals.
spend
It is expensive, but as long as it's efficient, we'll spend the money.
beat couple dropped expect felt game great missed scheme
We never expect to lose. But that game we really didn't expect to lose. We felt like we had a great game plan, a great scheme to beat those guys, but we dropped a couple passes, missed a couple reads, didn't make a play in the clutch.
guys hitting last plays sent stretch three year
Those are some of the things that we have to hit. We weren't hitting those plays last year. Now we have two or three guys that can make those plays. Last year I was the only one they sent deep. But we have some guys that can stretch the field.
players situations
He's a big-time player. And big-time players show up in big-time situations in big-time games.
believe couple definitely last ourselves rightfully underdogs
Yeah, most definitely we still think of ourselves as underdogs and rightfully so because we haven't done so well the last couple years. The more I don't read about us, the more I still believe that we're still not getting respect.
ball easiest guy handle needs position running strengths suits switch
I can handle any position that I may switch to, but I think probably the easiest position that suits my strengths is running back. I'm a guy that really needs the ball in his hands.
ball chance coach game hit particular situation throw work
I wouldn't say we work on ball control, ... It comes down to the game situation -- if we have a lead, what we want to do in a particular drive. Sometimes Coach Paterno will come over to me and say, 'If you get a chance to throw it deep, see if we can hit it.'
consider freshmen guys shown
I don't consider those guys freshmen anymore. They've shown up in the big games. They're mature.
dying great tom
Peyton Manning and Tom Brady, they're great quarterbacks, but they're going to be a dying breed. Defenses are getting too fast. You can't have quarterbacks who are statues.
