I was there to be kind of the adult - to be David Spade's dad. Which was okay, and I got to do a few things. I was on 26 shows and I managed to get 20 sketches on - either as sole writer or co-writer. So I can't say that I was completely miserable.

I was thinking consumer DSL pricing was only going to drop to about $40 a month by 2002, but thanks to this ruling, we'll probably get it down to around $32 by then, ... For every million new lines, there's going to be about a 3 percent reduction in monthly subscriber fees.

I was very lucky. I made a big mistake on the upper part of the course so I tried to find more speed afterwards but unfortunately, I was too fast.

I was very impressed with the last couple days' performance, in particular with the Dow, which rallied nicely. But we're in this pre-announcement period and although there haven't been too many negative comments, there's some hesitation on the part of investors because of that.

I was uncomfortable with the timing, ... We were getting millions less from the federal government for Medicaid and having to search for funds to restore some of those cuts and I just did not think it was right to put a pay raise on the board that would cost tens of millions of dollars.

The only thing we have to worry about right now is weather. If the snow doesn't come early, this thing could be humming in few weeks.
