At the snap of the ball, they are moving. They are like missiles. They are hitting their gaps, they're hitting their holes, and they're getting to where they are supposed to be, their correct assignment. When you watch them on film, they look like a Super Bowl-caliber team.
They are actually fun to watch. It's fun to watch film because they are so good. But at the same time you realize you have to play them this week.
We weren't a very good team and I wasn't a very good quarterback. I thought I knew all the plays inside and out. But Trent knew the plays better than anybody, and in meetings I'd watch him sit and take notes like he'd never seen them before. It rubbed off.
My dad has been a huge influence on my life. He's been injured, drafted into the NFL. He's started, been benched, cut and traded. I've watched how he's gone through those good times and bad times.
No, I don't really care. Either way, it's going to be a tough game. Whoever it is, I'm just glad we get to play it at our place. It will be fun to watch and let everybody beat each other up.
I enjoy it and I love it. I'll watch the AFC games and I'll watch the NFC games. Sometimes it's fun to be a fan, too.
Ken Lucas was screaming to the other side, 'Quarterback is in the game. Watch the throw, watch the trick play. When we snapped the ball, he was maybe not fully ready to cover because of that.
He had another incredible play against Detroit on a screen. I've watched all their games and he's great every game.
We're been practicing with the new balls and it kind of made my arm sore because they're a little different.
There are definitely enough resources of people that have been there. Even guys on our team that have been there and played in this game, and I guess you just have to listen and try to learn what you can from those types of people.
We appreciate the fact that we get to play at home.
We're ready to go. If the game was tomorrow, we've got the game plan.
We know you guys are new, we don't care, and we're not going to get ultra-conservative. We believe in you guys and we're going to let you make plays.
We know what needs to happen to get it done. We'll see you in September.
