Throwing mechanics, shoulder posture, my drop ? little things like that. Right now in camp it still feels like I'm confined and working on stuff. My feeling is, hey, these guys know what they're talking about. I'm buying in 100 percent to what they're saying. Don't ask questions. Come September, your mechanics will be better, you'll be a more accurate passer, and because of that your team will be better.
We went 8-0. We were the team that never punted. You can go back and see the trophy. It's printed on there.
We weren't a very good team and I wasn't a very good quarterback. I thought I knew all the plays inside and out. But Trent knew the plays better than anybody, and in meetings I'd watch him sit and take notes like he'd never seen them before. It rubbed off.
No disrespect at all, ... but we expected to win this game. I've been on teams and gone in places where I'm not sure everyone felt that way. We're more confident than we've ever been.
My teammates and I have just seen a glimpse of what it would be like to win a world championship. And as hard as it is right now -- 'cause it's hard right now -- we know what needs to happen to get it done, and I can promise you that we are all going to do everything we can do to get it done next year. Part of me feels like we were just happy to be there back then and if we won it would just be an added bonus. I don't think that's the case on this team. This team talks about it less, but in a funny way, we believe it more. Back then we talked about it more and believed it less. I like it better this way.
Some of those people are former players here. Some are coaches that have been around or people in the building. Or maybe it's just some of the people from Seattle who have followed the team since 1976. It would mean a great deal to them.
It is hard when he is not able to practice. Even though there is that chemistry there, it is still tough. Having him back, and really having the whole team back, was great.
Our focus was on this year and this team. The team in this locker room is better than the one that played last year.
I think every team I have been on you have a group of guys that are really helping pull the team in the right direction. Then you have a couple guys that are pulling it in a wrong direction. Everybody else is sort of on the fence,

He had some strong words for our offensive team and they were justified, ... He has very high expectations for us and me personally. It's nothing that we need to get all upset about. It's true, we've got to play better.
