Part of me really wants to enjoy this right now. But I'm kind of in shock right now. I hope people took a lot of pictures. We've got another game coming up. Standing on that podium, holding up that championship trophy in front of the fans...it was really a dream come true.
We were joking with Mack that he took a lot of time off the clock with that run.
To beat them the way we did, I don't want to say it's surprising, but it's quite an accomplishment because they're a very good team. I'm a little bit in shock right now. I hope people took pictures out there so I can look back at them later.
I've never been a part of a game like this. We set out trying to get a couple of goals accomplished. I think we took care of, statistically, some things we were trying to take care of. Probably more important, we were just trying to stay healthy also.
I'm almost embarrassed. I took two years of French in high school, and I hadn't the slightest clue what he was saying.
We're been practicing with the new balls and it kind of made my arm sore because they're a little different.
There are definitely enough resources of people that have been there. Even guys on our team that have been there and played in this game, and I guess you just have to listen and try to learn what you can from those types of people.
We appreciate the fact that we get to play at home.
We're ready to go. If the game was tomorrow, we've got the game plan.
We know you guys are new, we don't care, and we're not going to get ultra-conservative. We believe in you guys and we're going to let you make plays.
We know what needs to happen to get it done. We'll see you in September.
We actually felt we had the momentum after that. It was good for our offense.
We have played to earn respect, and the way you earn respect is by going out and winning the next game you play. That approach has helped us get here. I don't know too much about Pittsburgh and what their year has been like. Let's just go out and take care of business. It sounds like that is the sort of formula that has helped them get here, too.
The Pro Bowl. But I don't feel like playing right now.
