We were all excited. This is the playoffs. We're at home in front of our crowd and the whole city is alive and buzzing with enthusiasm. We all had to take a deep breath and just relax and get into our groove and start playing the game.

Our philosophy on offense is to wait for opportunity. Those guys have proven they can play when they get that opportunity. Eventually, we'll get Darrell and Bobby back. Until then, hopefully those guys can continue playing well.

They're going to try to stop Shaun? Wow, news flash. I feel like we have a balanced enough offense that if Shaun gets 50 yards, if that's all he's got, we can still win the football game. If Washington comes out and tries to put eight, nine guys in the box, then we're going to have a great day passing the football. It's going to be incredible. I think it's going to be hard for them to defend us.

I think a lot of things that plagued us in the past, where we definitely had some off-the-field issues ... I think the fact that we eliminated a lot of that stuff, and we don't worry about who gets the credit, that's made all the difference in the world.

It is kind of comical. It's kind of like a sitcom. I know in years past whenever I've seen things like this happen I feel like someone staged this, somebody put these guys up to do this.

He's been running like a man on a mission this year. Every week, he's performed. He's a big reason why we have the bye this week and are moving on to the second round of the playoffs.
building hopefully people start talking tradition
Hopefully we can start building a tradition around here where in 15-20 years from now, people will be talking about the '05 Seahawks the way they talk about those '84 Seahawks.
