great last tough week
It was tough last week without Hassan. He's a great competitor. The more there is on the line, the better he plays. He's a winner. We need his leadership. It was great to have him back.
determined last league seems start statement top until
I said at the start of the year, from top to bottom, this is going to be the most competitive the league has been. I made the statement the league wouldn't be determined until the last weekend, and that's still the case. It seems like anything can happen.
games happy last moved past relieved road start state sure three utah washington winning
I'm happy that we moved up and can start a new streak. After winning our last three road games at Utah by 30 and at Washington State and Washington this past weekend, I wasn't sure if that was going to happen. I'm relieved to be back in the poll.
absolutely best boards courage following game hammered heart michigan overtime seen state sustain team
We just got absolutely hammered on the boards but Michigan State does that to a lot of people. I want to acknowledge the courage and the heart of that team following what I thought was the best preseason game I've ever seen to go to another overtime and be able to sustain that effort.
believe inside reach
I still believe we can reach those goals. We do need to have more of an inside presence.
best buy deeper game influenced league maybe ourselves ready split washington
Washington and ourselves split and we went a game deeper in the league tournament. Maybe it is best to play 10 out of your first 11 at home. They say they're not going to be influenced by a team's record, but I'm not ready to buy that.
hardest played question smartest team
There's no question the team that played the hardest and the smartest ... won.
anybody beat capable chance defending good teams winning
We are the defending champs, and I think we are capable of defending the championship. There are some very good teams that we are going to have to beat if we are going to do that. But I don't think there is anybody who has a better chance of winning it.
few goes good hard job minutes needs spots
Mohamed did a good job and we need to do more of that. He needs more spots like that where he can get a few minutes at a time. Defensively, he goes hard and he always goes hard to the boards.
hay sun
We need to make hay while the sun is shining.
both chris ends shot took
Chris only took one shot he should have taken. We need him on both ends of the floor.
both chris court ends game great instead looking shots
Chris had a great game at both ends of the court because he let shots come to him instead of looking for shots.
either gone grandkids schools
I live in the Foothills and have 13 grandkids who are either going to Foothills schools or have gone through the Foothills schools.
either gets left
If either of those two gets left off, something's wrong.
