changed definitely documented last offense since
We'd definitely take that. It's documented what our offense did last year. A lot has changed since then.
definitely direction offense points step
Rex definitely showed some improvement. The offense put 24 points on the board; that's a step in the right direction.
adding ball dimension offense
He's adding something new, a different dimension to our offense being able to get the ball down the field.
gave kyle offense pleased stepped
We're pleased with how Kyle Orton stepped in and gave the offense a boost.
brought early energy football liked needed offense team
We needed to get the offense kick-started a little bit. Rex has come from a lot to go down like he did early in the preseason. ... We really liked the energy he brought to our football team when we brought him in.
chance help kyle learn older
This will give Kyle a chance to learn from two older quarterbacks, which should only help his play as a quarterback.
best players work
You have to play rookies, they're the best players we have. That's how we look at it. We're going to play the best players. We'd like for the best to have a lot of experience, but it doesn't work like that always.
bit excited gotten jeff majority quite talking week
We're talking a lot about Kyle, but I'm excited about what Jeff will be able to do for us too. We will play Jeff quite a bit in this game. He will get the majority of the reps for this game. He hasn't gotten as many reps as Kyle, so this is an important week for him.
continue talk
We talk a lot about their defense, and I'm going to continue to talk a lot about our defense,
finish
We let one get away from us today. We have to find a way to finish the game.
good saw
I didn't get a good look at it and they called it an incompletion anyway. That's how we saw it.
best dream felt football hopefully hurt player stopped team time work
Personally, it hurt when you tell a player his dream has been stopped for a while, but we had to do what was best for our football team and we felt like this was what was best at this time and hopefully it will work out for Marc, too.
anyone played
Ian Scott played as well as anyone on our defense.
carolina course giving normally talked year
Carolina wanted it more than we did. Twenty-one points, normally through the course of the year that would have been enough for us. Defensively going in, we talked about not giving up the big play. We were not able to do that.
