best dream felt football hopefully hurt player stopped team time work
Personally, it hurt when you tell a player his dream has been stopped for a while, but we had to do what was best for our football team and we felt like this was what was best at this time and hopefully it will work out for Marc, too.
bit few gave improvement last quite year
Last year we had quite a few sacks ... I think 66 or so. This year we gave up 31. Quite a bit of an improvement on that side.
awhile bit game leading means next north quite since talked trying
We're confident. It's been awhile since we've been 3-3 and where the next game means quite a bit. We're just trying to get respect. The NFC North has talked quite a bit about the records. But I see it getting better and I think we're leading the charge.
coming definitely expecting gets guys injury pick run running slack stretch trying until
We definitely think he can be a part of the stretch run. That's why once you see an injury like that, you are expecting the worst. We have a stretch run we're coming upon, and we need all of our guns. Cedric is a big part of what we're trying to do running the football. Our other guys will have to pick up the slack until he gets back.
definitely stretch
We definitely think he can be a part of the stretch run.
bit coming farther good improving individual players position third wondering
It's good to have our players. We know who they are. Third year, we're not wondering what position to put players in. We're just concentrating on improving each individual player and going a little bit farther this coming season.
change fit good kansas last louis system wrong year
There was nothing wrong with the system. The system we had last year is working in St. Louis and Kansas City. It just wasn't a good fit for us. Once you know it ... you've got to change it.
bigger game none plays
There were a lot of big plays in the game but none any bigger than that, really.
ball behind few pass situations tough
There were some tough situations for Cedric yesterday. We got behind and had to pass the ball a few times.
changes high low start wholesale
It's not like we're making wholesale changes. You can't get too high when you play real well and you can't get too low and start making a lot of changes when you don't play as well as you know you can.
against football game loss run tough
It was a tough loss for us today. Going into the game we thought we would be able to run the football against them and we weren't able to do that.
gave kyle offense pleased stepped
We're pleased with how Kyle Orton stepped in and gave the offense a boost.

draft games guy happening kick plans running rushed unless yards
We know who Cedric is, and you don't draft a guy there unless you have plans for him down the line. But you have to go on what is happening right now. You have a running back who has rushed for 100 yards two games in a row. You can't kick him out of the house.
