best says
I feel like I've been struggling. To be able to come through and not play my best really says a lot.
ability happened hopefully last ready repeat
I feel like I'm ready for the challenges. I feel like I have the ability to play well and hopefully repeat what happened last year, and go better.

best girls highest level playing
I feel like I'm playing some of my best tennis. It's unfortunate that all the other girls are playing so much better. This is the highest level we've ever competed at.
biggest double fault gone hit matches matter miss practice rhythm scared serve
I can tell in the motion, ... Sometimes you can double fault and miss serve, but hit it really well. I just feel like it's just a rhythm thing. Hopefully, the more I serve and the more I practice it and the more I do it in matches it'll come back. It's one of my biggest weapons. I'm not scared that it's gone away. It just is a matter of me being able to hit it more.
good happy obviously
Obviously I'm happy to get a good win, and get it in before it rained.
focus reward rewards tour younger
It?s just not something that I, at this age, can really focus on, ... where I don?t feel like I can play as much as some of the younger girls. Unfortunately, while our tour does reward quality, it also rewards quantity.
closer cocky few hard matches normally relative seems sound stepping top women
It seems like the top women are really stepping up and have been getting through with relative ease. It's hard to sound too cocky about that. I think normally there's a few more closer matches in there.

bags both carried discussion effort extremely goes huge job parts progress quit sacrifice takes together work
It's extremely difficult, but we couldn't have it any other way. I don't think we'd be together if he just quit his job and carried my bags around the tour. That's our relationship. We're both very motivated, strong-willed people. It takes a huge effort and sacrifice on both our parts to make everything work, and it's always a work in progress and a discussion and everything that goes with that.

anyone certain change delay expected fantastic locker looking personally players rain room sweat time tough unprepared unsure watching
It's fantastic when you're done (and) you're watching everyone else in the locker room sweat it out, but it's very tough when rain interrupts play. A lot of time it can change the momentum. Players get stiff, you're always unsure of when it will stop. And I think certain players are personally unprepared for it at certain venues. At Wimbledon, you're always looking up, like, ?OK, one more game.' I don't think anyone would have expected a long rain delay here in the desert.
few games hard people points short trying
It's hard when there's people around because you really don't want that to happen. I was trying to keep the points short for a few games there.
funny players summer
It's been a funny summer with a lot of players not playing,
