Everybody thinks Liz is really serious. But she can be really silly, too. She just knows when to do that. And this is a time for business. We have a lot more basketball left.

It was all about being aggressive with our press, getting after it and finishing the game. They had two go-to players. But our heart and effort were the difference. And we need to do more than play this way at home. We need to carry this energy with us.

We wanted a defensive focus and wanted to get back and stop the ball. They like to penetrate into the lane, and I was just trying to get something going on defense.

There's nine games left, that's a lot time and anything can happen but we're trying not to even think about that right now. You can't get to wrapped up in that right now or it will all go down the hill.

We really wanted to jump on them and get the lead and be aggressive right from the tip. As a shooter, you're looking for your shot, but you're also looking to create for your teammates and set them up that way.

We have an opponent now, so we have to get ready for that. We expect to be in. We had a tough schedule, and we're ready to have an opponent and start playing again.

I don't care where we play or what seed we are. It doesn't matter. We're confident. We've been there before. We just have to work hard and stay focused.
basket goes great hustle night offense seems shooting small steals
No one had a great shooting night, but if your offense isn't going right, you just got to get it back on defense. You've got to make those hustle plays, those steals and get on the floor. Sometimes the basket just seems really small and nothing goes in, but you just have to keep fighting.

This year is this year's team and last year is over with. I'm excited to get back on the floor with my teammates. This is our last run (as seniors).

This year is this team. We can't compare it to last year. That's over. But you have to play the best to be the best. We don't want any cupcake teams.

aggressive built defense goes offense program start stops strong
We wanted to start off strong and just go after them - keep being aggressive on offense and getting stops on defense. It always goes back to rebounding and defense for us. That's what this program was built on.
