best played prepared
We prepared well. This is probably the best we've played the whole tournament.
against beat chance definitely remember team time win
We definitely remember those two losses. So any time you get a chance to get a win against a team that beat you twice, especially in a championship game, that would be nice.
guys
They've got a lot of length, their big guys are really athletic.
both entire gone gotten seeing skill year
They've been doing it the entire year. I think just now it's kind of out in the open. They've both made strides. I think as the year has gone on, they've gotten better and better and I think you're seeing the skill they really have.
defense
They make defense their staple. They got a lot of length.
definitely good lead pressure team
They get a lot of steals. But if a team handles the pressure well, it can definitely lead to good shots.
friday occasional
There's been an occasional Friday where I'll study. But that's rare.
kept played
That's not a lineup that we've played with a whole lot during the year. But we kept the lead. That's what we wanted.
hurt
That's just Jo. I don't think he's hurt or anything.
beat chance focus game happened lost point ranked teams texas whoever
That's happened to some teams this year, too. Texas was ranked No. 2, and they lost to Tennessee. But we just need to focus on what we need to focus on. We know that every game we play, whoever we play, they have a chance to beat us, especially from this point on in the year.
fall felt good happy knocking looks
That one felt really good. I thought I had some good looks and just wasn't knocking them down. I was just happy to be able to get one to fall and to be able to contribute.
ball good hand left loads motion range release until wrist
Your left hand is still pretty important. Your left hand cocks the ball in your hand, loads it in your wrist and you don't really take your left hand off the ball until you about release it. So you still have to have pretty good range of motion on your left hand.
bit create dribble game might pressure rely
This might be a game where I have to rely on my dribble a little bit more, to try to get around pressure and create opportunities.
felt second shooter shots tonight
As a shooter you can tell when your shots are going good. Tonight I felt good, especially in the second half.
