along believe bit last program returning schedule several stands
This year's schedule will be a competitive one for our team. Much like last season, we have several newcomers, who along with our returning players, need to have a little bit of success. I believe the schedule is right for where our program stands today.
certain frustrated guys putting
To say I'm frustrated would be putting it lightly. We had certain guys play well and certain guys didn't.
bounce situation win
We will bounce back. It's very frustrating to be in the situation where you can win but can't make the plays.
dagger looked played time tremendous
Even when we played it right, and played it hard, they made some tremendous shots. Every time we looked like we were going to get over the hump, they put a dagger in us.
coached eventually fastest free game might ranked team throws turned won
That's the fastest team I've ever coached against. They might eventually be ranked No. 1. I didn't think the game was won by 17 points; I thought it was closer. I think that if we could have made some free throws that we could have turned the corner.
builder next nice program turnaround
It was a big win. A program turnaround win. It was a nice builder for next year. We're going to be good.
good next positive season year
It was a good way to the end the season and and a positive team-builder for next year because we're going to be good. Good things are going to happen.
work
It will all work out as it always does.
best coach played trying understand
The Tulsa coach said that's the best they've played this year. You don't like to lose, but you have to understand where we are and what we're trying to do.
good match seen team
This was as good as I've seen them play. We couldn't match their athleticism at times, and I think we got outplayed at times, too. That Auburn team is going to be good.
depth good late plays
We're just not good enough right now from a depth experience. You need to make plays late in the game. We didn't.
against allow anybody ball chance cost court faster game onto rebounds stop transition
We have to get our game onto the court and not play into their hands. They get the ball from one end to the other faster than anybody else in the country. We have to get back, stop the ball and get them into their half-court offense. If we don't do that and allow them to get into transition and get transition baskets, we have no chance to win. If we do stop them, that's the key. We have to get the long rebounds which cost us against Houston.
played plays pulling
We were just one or two plays away from pulling it out. We played well enough to win.
coached collection fastest team
They are the fastest team I have ever coached against. As a collection of runners, they really come at you.
